Oriole
They think my wobbliness might be from something called rat poison, which is a bit scary to think about, but I`m a fighter! Everyone at Mickaboo is making sure I`m comfortable and trying to help me stabilize. I`m told that if I get better, they`re going to try and introduce me to another wild conure they have here. I really miss having bird buddies around, so that sounds absolutely wonderful to me.
My name is Oriole, and even though I`m recovering, I`m dreaming of a future in a safe, well-prepared home with a new friend. I`m hoping to find a loving home someday where I can be safe and sound with plenty of toys and delicious treats. If you`re looking for a sweet, resilient conure with a wild spirit, I might just be the one for you!
(Oriole will not be available until treatment is complete and they appear stable -- June 2025).
2026 - Oriole was released back to the flock in great shape on May 9th, and then found on August 10 extremely starved and dehydrated. We identified them via microchip. We rushed them to Medical Center for Birds the same day and sadly they passed just hours later.
